Lala Land Trailer Remake

I choose Lala Land because it is probably my favorite movie of all time. I knew that the soundtrack was definitely something I could work with and make it scary. I used a combination of the trailer and clips from the movie. I slowed down the audio and made it sound echoey and then I layered in some sound effects such as rain noises, clock ticks etc... I also slowed down the speed of some of the clips and changed the color of some clips and had quick jump cuts to make it look like the lights were flickering.

BBA News was super fun to be part of. We worked for all of Thursday outside and the weather couldn't have been more nice. I did the slate and also helped out on set to make sure everything was running smoothly. The environment felt very professional and everyone did a great job with their role on set. Carson killed it with the sound and Boden with the camera, and Olivia did a great job directing and making sure the actors, Mary and Jordan, knew what they needed to say. We had to re-shoot some clips on Friday and that process was also a very smooth one. I was behind the camera and tried to match the camera shot to the one Boden shot Thursday. I liked getting to see how hard it is to be in front of the camera, and learned a lot from this process.
